Member Bio: Gwendolyn Hilary, former librarian and educator, is a storyteller and workshop presenter who engages audiences of all ages, telling stories that spark the imagination and touch the soul. She performs with the dynamic musician and folklorist, Enoch Williamson, at festivals, museums, libraries, public and private schools, universities, cultural institutions as well as in the private sector. Together they perform interactive stories full of songs and rhythms, bringing listeners "into" the stories. Gwendolyn's rich repertoire of stories, enable her to create programs on many themes. She especially enjoys sharing multicultural folktales and the history, contributions, and wonderful stories of African Americans.

Workshop Descriptions: Reading and Storytelling for Young Children.
This workshop is geared for educators, librarians, and parents and focuses on sharing the joy of stories with the preschool and primary age learner.
The Art of Storytelling: "How to" techniques
A fun, interactive, hands on approach to learning the basics of beginning storytelling for teachers, youths and others who want to effectively tell stories. The time frame can range from one hour (explanation) to 3 hour sessions over a period of multiple days.
